Your blood group;There are 4 blood groups that the human species fall into. Blood groups A, B, O and AB.
They can either be Rhesus negative or positive but that's of little concern.
Your blood group plays a very big role in how you gain weight and determines how you lose it.
It also determines which types of foods are very good for you and which are not.
For example; blood group A are best suited to be vegans, also fair well with legumes, whole grains and all kinds of fruits. they also have a very sensitive immune system. this group does not fair well with meat no lots of meat.
Blood group B- they fair best with low fat dairy, meat, eggs,. they do not work well with things like tomatoes, wheat, peanuts, corn and lentils.
Blood group AB- these people have very low tolerance for alcohol, smoking and also caffeine. They do well with foods such as sea food, dairy and green vegetables.
Blood group O- These people have a lot trouble with their tummies. Best diets include those containing high proteins, heavy on lean meat, vegetables and should go very light with grains.
From that description, you can likely know if you have been eating the correct type of food as per your blood group. Eating healthy but wrong types of foods can cause you to not lose any weight due to your body's allergies or inability to absorb that kind of food efficiently.
According to your blood group, you should also choose your kind of exercise based on that.
not everyone is meant for strenuous exercises.
How To Choose An Exercise As Per Your Blood Group
Blood group A
These individuals lose weight best if they perform calming/relaxing exercises such as Yoga, Pilates and CHI which will help you focus on individual areas on your body. Avoid very strenuous physical exercises which will put more strain/stress to their already very sensitive immune system. High stress levels increase the levels of cortisol hormone which leads to more fatigue, and behaviors such as over eating. You will not lose any weight if you opt for the hard type of exercises.
Blood Group O- They are best suited for the athletic kind of exercises. These people have stronger muscles and their ancestors must have been gatherers or hunters. They tend to have a heavier built and therefore, lose weight better if they perform heavy work outs. If you have this blood group, performing calming exercises is not for you. Opt for cardio like running, jogging, skipping, lifting weights etc.
Blood group B- it's believed that, these kind of people were mostly nomads, they fair best if they perform simple low impact exercises like walking, simple resistance training, a jog here and there, cycling and playing games such as golf and tennis.
Blood group AB- You are a graft of group A and B- follow a combination of A and B. You will be good to go.

Lack of enough sleepDo you know that, when one doesn't sleep enough, a hormone called leptin is released, this hormone regulates hunger and satiety. High leptin levels causes you to feel more hungry often which results to you feeding more than is required. As a result you add some pounds.
It's best advisable to observe at-least a minimum of 6 hours every night if you can make 8 hours the better.
Over thinking
I know times are hard and sometimes you can't help but think about all your problems.
Your brain consumes so much energy when you think hard or feel afraid, as a result, your body senses the energy lack prompting you to eat more in order to compensate for the lost energy.
Alcohol and smoking
This is Bad if you are looking to lose weight.
Alcohol, especially the beers, wine and some sweet alcohols contains very high calories.
You taking more than one glass of wine is already bad for you. alcohol also limits absorption of nutrients such as Vitamin B which is very bad for you and for your brain health.
Smoking on the other hand has so many negative effects on your body. It limits absorption of very essential nutrients, reduces the strength of your immune system and predisposes you to lifestyle diseases such as hypertension.
If you want to lose weight, then cut off these two deadly substances or quit them altogether.
Other things to remember
- Mind the foods you take, balance the calories by taking care of your portions
- Perform your exercises frequently and stick to one routine before changing it to another
- Keep well hydrated and remember to maintain a well balanced diet at all times.
