Fast- Track Your Hidden Talents Today

How to identify your hidden talents

Every human person was created with one or several very unique hidden talents or abilities, that could be obvious or hidden.
It's up to you to dig through the dirt and find out which are those talents that may be hidden deep within you and whose use you can put into, to better your life.

Discovering your hidden talents is a powerful way of also knowing your life purpose, as most talents are linked to what you are destined to do while on this earth.
For some of us, we struggle so much  trying to unearth what exactly we are gifted in. We go through school, to college and take up courses that our parents/guardians think suits us, with little or no evaluation/assessment of what we are/were really meant to do.
As a result, most people end up frustrated in this life and just working to pay bills while not living at all.

How To Identify Your Hidden Talents

Most people recognize talents as only those gifts that  are obvious and can use to become very famous or make lots of money. For example; singing, sports etc, but a talent is a gift that you can use to improve your life either by making you feel fulfilled, happy, content, useful... or one that you can use to help another person experience life in a better way as you also make a living out of it.
Some of these very underutilized talents are; kindness, selflessness, generosity, humbleness, caring, hospitable etc.

One way you can use to contrive what your hidden talent really is, is by;
scrutinizing yourself and appreciating those things that really make you feel good.
Do this by asking yourself these questions;

  1. What activities makes me complete?
  2. What is this hobby that makes me feel so alive?
  3. What are those things I love doing to others that also make me feel really good?
  4. What is that thing that my friends keep complimenting me about?

If you answer those questions honestly, you will get some light on what exactly you are passionate about and you can work very easily from there.

For example; after assessing yourself, you find out that you take great pleasure in helping people either sick, maimed, poor etc. Your next step should be to venture into those careers that will help you bring out that unique talent in you. You can choose to become a doctor, a nurse, a lawyer , a nun, a writer etc. Your hidden talents here were (caring, generous, kindness, loving).

If you were already in  a career that you are not passionate about, you can choose to venture into a side hustle that will bring out the best of your abilities. For example; you are a dentist but your real passion is in design and decors. You can start a business either as a interior decor artist, an event planner, a wedding decor artist, a fashion icon etc. The opportunities are endless, but the bottom line lies with the ability to identify what really makes your life interesting and then pursuing it to your highest ability.

In addition, never forget to ask God for clarity as to what His will for your life is. You will find out certain opportunities just come to us without us looking for them, because it was God destined to happen that way.

What Next After Discovering Your Hidden Talents

After discovering your naturally veiled talents, its now the time to put them into correct use. If you fail to utilize a talent, it may never be fully profitable. "Practice makes perfect". A musician who doesn't practice singing his songs may never improve his vocals to his best of abilities. Same case applies to all of us. Use your talents daily even in the most trivial of ways.

For example; you are very passionate about helping people improve the perception of themselves i.e., boosting self confidence, self image... making them feel important and useful. You can be the next Joel Osteen or even Joyce Meyer. Start small. Open a Facebook fan page and be pouring your heart out through motivating posts, images, videos etc. Invite your friends who will feel touched and find your information quite useful and by this small way, you will be on your way to greatness.

Every little effort you put in, count it as a seed that you have sowed and sooner or later, you shall reap the full benefits by becoming a greater version of yourself.

Whenever I take some time to write on this personal blog, I make very little out of it but it makes my life so complete. I feel useful and someone important when I constantly write to someone. Even if just one person will read it, at least I'll know I touched someone's heart that single day which is very important to me.

Therefore, do your thing and start now. Cultivate that which God gave to you and use it to the best of your abilities. You don't have to be the best but you can be someone if you put your mind to it.

I hope this article will help you realize how valuable you are and how you can identify your God given covered talents to make your life interesting and also help other people out there.

Cheers!
